We at Northhack are working to make our site www.northhackgame.com accessible to people with disabilities.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
We have implemented the following accessibility features to improve the experience for a wider audience:
- Control adaptation, to adapt most keyboard and mouse controls to their preferences and needs.
- We adapt to the size of the screen.
- Subtitles adapt to the background for better contrast (e.g. opaque background).
- Basic text coloring to improve readability.
- Volume control relies on volume controls for music and sound effects.
- Some visual indicators, such as sound effects are supplemented with visual indicators for users who may have difficulty hearing.
- One area we plan to develop further is:
Adjustable difficulty to allow the user to adjust the size, color, and volume according to their own abilities.
